Why doesn't modern civilazation build something as monumental as the pyramids? Think about it, the pyraminds lasted for 4500 years! And it will probably thousands of years more. Meanwhile what do we have? The burj khalifa? Sure it's impressive but how long will it last? It would last around 100 puny years without maintenance, compared to the thousands of years for pyraminds. If we went back to the stone age right now in a nuclear war, after 200 years no one would know what a great civilazation we had. Are we really that advanced if quote on quote slaves build more monumental buildings than us?

we had some cool towers but then some kikes decided to wreck them
in egypt they were enslaved so they couldn't pull that shit but now you can't have nice things anymore

Because normalfags are trash and don't have access to needed tech.
And i am pretty sure elites do build shit like that in secret.

The oldest monoliths are made of huge pieces of stone that our best cranes & heavy machinery cannot lift. It's within the possible that gravity was less back in those days, allowing them to lift such large stones.

There is also an assumption that we know more than they did. Personally I believe it is a false assumption. I suspect at least one of Earth's cataclysmic events drop-kicked mankind back to the dark ages where we lost most of our collective knowledge and turned to basic survival. We are still building up from that point and have not yet reached the level of technology that our ancient ancestors had.

The Pharaohs were considered God Kings. There was no practical reason for building those. Capitalism prioritizes practical purpose relative to what is effectively a theocracy. We have no good reason to make stuff like that so we don't.

Different needs.
Modern day engineers build things to specifications. I.e. not a bridge that holds any weight but a bridge that is as stripped down as possible while still standing and carrying it's traffic.
A major part of it is cost and the lack of willingness by taxpayers to bear it.

>Why doesn't modern civilazation build something as monumental as the pyramids?
Creating something as huge as the pyramids (out of stone) even with modern machinery would probably cost $1 billion after all materials and labor is factored in.

How are you going to make that money back? Tourism? There better be some really good shit in that pyramid. The Luxor hotel and casino is the size and shape of a pyramid. Does that count?

Pyramids were egotistical, they were build for the top 1% Egyptians, they were build for you to remember how big the king was, not for the civilisation to be remembered, but for you to remember just that guy: Pharaoh Ree-Frog.

Romans built for the civilisation, to show what the Romans were capable of(not the Emperor), for the Romans.

The pyramid was built by Pharaoh Ree-frog;
The Colosseum was built by Romans;
There's a difference.

To be honest, no one cares anymore, you get wealthy and fuck the others.

Think about it, sure the Emperor of Rome was rich and powerfull, but do you think it was as rich as Jeff Bezos? That guy basically Emperor of the world, he can build spaceships on his own, not even Nasa can, it's like if some random dude from Rome just paid people to build a Bigger Colosseum and then just Winked at Romans.

We literally build random Pyramids that are a billion times more impressive every couple of years. One of them is a fucking Bass Fishing Store.

Reminds me of that practical engineering guy who said "Anybody can build a bridge that stands, but you need an engineer to build a bridge that barely stands."

Question: Why would you just go on the internet and say something completely factually incorrect and random?

>monumental
>seemed like a good idea at the time
>ended up being a massive waste of resources making everyone look retarded
Yeah, our "pyramids" are the internet.

Watched too many episodes of Ancient Aliens. Sorry.

That thing could be BTFO by a hail storm.

Myth is a powerful thing. Side effect of the enlightenment is the permanent deflation of myth.

Yeah, and fixed back up in a couple of days. If you want something that's durable, review pic rel. In all aspects it is superior to the pyramids.

You could hit it with multiple nuclear strikes and it won't go down.

according to these theories, aliens hate white people because they never built anything for us.

The internet was pretty monumental

That's where they keep the Stargate!

How long can it actually last though?

>they were enslaved
user please tell me you didn't fall for the Hebrew lies

I mean, it was quite literally designed to withstand near global catastrophic nuclear war.
