Do you ever drive?
Do you ever drive?
My parents forced me through driving school, haven't driven since the exam. I was good at it but I had nowhere to go
No, I walk or take the bus
Too expensive to go on leisurely night drives now.
trying to. i just got my license but the dealership i've been in contact with won't get back to me
ya i drive myself insane
No, don't have a car and my parents don't let me use their two cars. They are paranoid about liability even though I've never been in an accident.
I can drive but I don't have a Iicense
i can't afford a car with my meager autismbux
Driving is my coping mechanism and I do it frequently. I like to drive with no destination to try and elicit a sense of adventure in my urban hell.
A few weeks ago I drove through this retirement community my grandparents used to live in. It was night, the streetlights were particularly dim, and the house architecture was evidently somewhat old (mid-20th century). As I drove through the suburbs I looked at the different houses and envisioned myself visiting them to hang out with imaginary friends. Listening to records, watching TV, playing board games, cooking food, etc. I imagined us going to a bowling alley and an old drive-in diner. These old fucking houses were able to ellicit all of these fantasies in my head.
I got lost in those suburbs that night. All I could think about was how much I yearn for community and how this world has utterly failed me in fulfilling such a fundamental human desire.
Nevertheless, it was one of my best drives ever. I hold onto these fantasies because, if I can never materialize them, then what is there left for me in this world.
I get to work either at 0:30 or 3:30 am every morning so yeah, and drive at night too during my day off. bought myself picrel to replace my euro shitbox too,
For the first time ever, I drove by myself today to run errands and get some groceries.
No I left learning too late and now it terrifies me.
I never learned because I know myself well enough to know that my scatterbrained ass shouldn't be trusted with something like a car. The day I drive will be the day I get nailed for manslaughter while trying to turn a corner,
No, I don't have a car.
I do the same user. Nothing in particular, but just imaging myself owning one of those homes, having a family inside waiting for me as I pull into the driveway as I come home from the office.
i drop and pickup my sister to and from school.
mustangs are the manlets of cars
I live in Spain and I had to but an e-bike thanks to socialism. Driving was one of the few things I really enjoyed.
Yeah. If you live in Freedomland, you basically need to have a car to do anything with your life. Everything is so far away that walking is impractical in all situations. Even the market is several miles from my house.
I like driving though, it's really fun and it's a very masculine activity. This board and /o/ are the ones that I frequent most.
I gave up after failing my test a bunch of times, but I should probably learn again at some point. I've not been in the driver's seat for 4 years. I've just relied on my mother driving me around or cycling once I moved to a place that's safe to do it.
Hopefully my insurance will be cheaper seeing as I'm 24 now.
