I came here to respond "yes I hate dogs", but after reading the OP in full, apparently that is untrue. I hold nothing near the animosity you have. I only hate owning a dog. I hate how the fur gets everywhere, embeds itself into clothing and furniture, and nothing short of a torch can remove the fur once it's entrenched. I hate the responsibility of feeding and watering N animal. I hate having to entertain it, to be it's source of socialization, something I not only dislike but am also quite horrible at.
The biggest appeal to dog ownership is getting the girls.
