I still haven't learned that. Maybe because talking to them everyday online is too exhausting for me, as much as I'd like to talk to a girl the other day I quickly realised that I don't like talking that much. Maybe I missed my boat already I don't know.

If you didn't learn how to do this in high school it's genuinely too late for you. It's the only you're in an environment where you're grouped in with a bunch of your peers for years and essentially forced to socialize, with no consequences. If you didn't build the confidence and charisma to talk to people in high school, it's nigh on impossible to do so later. I've never known a single person who was a shy anxious shut-in through college and then suddenly ended up learning to socialize in their mid-late 20s. It just doesn't happen, you're fucked for life.

Like you talk to a friend. Leave convos about porn or games. Talk about some neutral topic. Her responses and reactions will tell you whether it is worth investing your time.

This is why I'm glad I didn't jump straight into I.T. when I finished school. Awkwardness with girls only really started in high-school, working in hospitality (literally full of women) helped a lot with this
