There are a lot of questionable things about Communism that I cannot see creating a functional society, however I am not entirely against the possibility of worker-owned cooperatives functioning in a market society. The most resource-efficient system we have is capitalism within a mostly free market system, so we should continue to use that as a base. In my opinion, the resources produced by capitalism can be used to create a far better society for workers than centralized communism ever could in reality.

You can support something and specifically seek to improve certain areas. Upper class oligarchy is undesirable no matter what your economic ideology is I would think.
