lol when? Disney shit has always been a step below the Jap's products, even at its peak. Disney does great foreground animation, but their background animation has always been abysmal. Take a look at the mindless NPCs in the background of The Hunchback of Notre Dame and then compare it to background stuff in Princess Monoke, which came out one year later. Disney also fills all of their shit with musical sections because they believe that Western audiences are so mindless that they will grow bored without le epic Broadway singing for longer than 15 minutes.

I blame the CIA for this, they funded James Pollack pic rel. Because of him art is seen not by the standards of actual beauty but of other trite reasoning. Meanwhile someone like Kinkade is viewed as 'kitch' basically meaning that it's trying too hard to look good whatever the fuck that means? The elite literally look down upon you for not understanding Pollack and laugh at you when you suggest Kinkade has more meaning in his art
