If all you're after is sex where the other person just sees you as a means to pleasure, with no personal connection then yeah I can see how it's easy. Not sure what you mean with it being easy to speak to people you find attractive. To me it feels harder than being hetero since most times you see anyone you're attracted to irl they're pretty much guaranteed to not be gay, while most girls will be straight. Some will even be insulted if you try to even inquire if they might be gay.
