a wave of depression just washed over me

>wrestling isnt in a boom perio-

cope o'clock

I love WCW but those years were trainwrecks (although I thought they were kind of getting back on track by the end) i had watched nitro every week from like 97 and gave up around 00

Keep the faith brother, they only died because AOL didn't want wrestling on their network.

>April 1999
Columbine was stealing all the headlines that month.

perfectly reasonable to compare tv now to tv then. yep. no problem with that. definitely a good faith comparison.

That's pretty based bro, you should tweet it at Dave and post in on the Jerk.

Rugrats was over big time.

Sounds like second place isn't good enough.

I didn't know the RAW is WAR 2nd hour carried so far into 2000. That's really weird to think about. RAW was technically two hour long shows.

they still do that though? all 3 hours are seperated in the chart.

Meltzersissies...wtf is this?

KWAB

Take me back.

damn was rugrats that much of a draw?

The second hour was called War Zone until the week after 9/11.

Yes

Bret Hart bros...

Rugrats was huge.

I watched the very first episode of WCW Nitro with my dad and brothers and we watched the very last episode too. Too many people (zoomers) think WCW was TNA level of bad when it ended but like you said, the quality started picking up around the time the got bought out. The greatest What If in wrestling will always be what if WCW had been able to live on just a little while longer.
