It's basically impossible with the pressure of society, think about it. Every kid has a smart phone, so the influence would be insane. You need phones and internet for school and other endeavours, basically you cannot function in modern society without these things. And sooner or later the addiction will grow stronger because of apps like tiktok, youtube, video games etc, that are specifically designed to be as addicting as possible for the most profit. Dude, when i was growing up in my shithole country we didnt yet have smart phones, only flip phones. So i grew up with a normal childhood full of socializing without any social media. Despite all of that i still became an internet addcit gradually. I'm only one guy, i couldnt prevent my children from these technologies when they're so deeply ingrained into society. This isnt a fantasy movie.

The thing is, all of us use the internet so much technically almost all of us are addicts, so naturally its seen as the norm. I just cannot protect my children from these drug like, corporation produced gadgets. no matter how much i wish i could. Add that with social media and how retarded it makes you its just ogre.
