Fair enough, though the only jobs I'm looking at are 40 hours/week for this exact reason. I'd either have my own law practice or be a programmer. Both have high pay for low hours, unlike stuff like finance.
Do you show your wealth or job status at all? You probably look like a neet. Girls liking high status/money is no different than people liking good looking people, both are shallow. If I was you I'd be more open about my status, get nicer clothes, car, apartment etc. without being flashy or douchey about it.
I could realistically hit 500k by 40, but by that point it will be too late. If I go for law, my realistic timeline is basically 125k by 30, 200k by 33, and 300k+ by 40. It all just seems like it's too late. What's the point of hitting 400k or so at 40 if I'm already married to a girl I started dating when I was making 125k? It just doesn't make any sense.

No that's not too late, you're just going to be dating younger. As a man should always be dating young attractive women.

Modern women are way too full of themselves to seriously date you just because you have a solid career and stable life. But it's good to not be poor regardless.
I guess while being rich doesn't get you much in terms of plus points, being poor does get you minus points with a lot of women, but that only comes into play if you're already 7/10+.

100k a year means nothing to women. The amount of social programs, corporate make work jobs, and cheap credit means that your average woman doesnt give a fuck if you make that because her standard of living is not dramatically different from yours and you're probably busting your ass 60 hours a week. Not only that but if you make around that money you are probably doing responsible boomer things like maxing out your 401k and ira contributions and don't have a ton of money leftover for luxury spending. Maybe truly wretched women would be impressed by a 100k but you probably need to make at least 350k or more to raise any eyebrows.

Fuck I wish this wasn't true, but I know it is. Women already have everything they want, they don't give a fuck about money anymore, only fucking Chad.

No singular addition to your life will fix up your market value. You can stack shit like being rich, status, power, nice house, nice car, etc. But the top 2 will always be a good personality(as determined by women don't bitch about how you have a great one but see no action that tells you yours is shit by their standards) and looks but again these alone do not guarantee such occurrences. You have to STACK as much as you can accept that the disney fairytales you swallowed whole as a child don't actually exist. Women will always weigh mens entire market value. Their sexual interests are not peaked the way mens are solely by physical appearances, at least not for long, as they are hardwired to be caretakers and pop out kids which means they're hardwired to NEED the best provider they can get. Be that and they'll be your whatever but love of the variety disney sells will almost never crop up.
