This is no longer a reality.
The wealth gap has been set and established, and even continues to widen. If you weren't born into a wealthy family, you're fucked for life and will be forever a slave to your debt/mortgage.
They even had articles here in Canada talking about how entrepreneurial spirit is dead and its nearly impossible to self start as an individual as it would put you in debt for the rest of your life if it fails (and it will because you can't compete with franchise prices).
Anyone I know who is wealthy around me was born into it and had backing from their parents.
