Would have been better if Darby beat the shit out of King after the match, then had a face come out to "talk some sense into him", only to get literally shoved onto the ground, and Darby goes back to just walloping the guy.

If he just beats him after the match, the crowd will cheer. But this way, the crowd goes full "wtf is wrong with this guy??" and just stares in silence.

With this ending, there's no way to use the guy next week. Throwaway match with Ethan Page? Or some local jobber? What do they even do now? There's no story.
