War sucks, and I have no sympathy for Putin or the Russian government in general, but that doesn't mean I think Ukraine it's a nation of innocent angels that did nothing wrong.

They kept putting pressure and aligning with the west, knowing full well that the strategy of their so called "allies" is to cage Russia and to have weapons at range with the russian main cities. The americans almost started a war when this happened with Cuba, but Russia is nazi Germany for doing the same? Yeah, it's bullshit.

trust me bro, most people rooting either for Ukraine or for Russia could not give a single shit about those particular countries, they are rooting for ideologies and world orders which they think these countries represent or which would be best served by their victory.

I sympathize with Russia but I know for a fact if tomorrow for whatever reason the roles got reversed and Russia became a US ally and the liberals little darling while Ukraine say aligned with China and started acting accordingly, I'd quickly lose all my sympathy for Russia and become an Ukrainian fanboy.

Not that this is realistically going to happen, but everything is possible, I mean even Communist China at one point got pissed at the USSR and started improving relations with America. Who on earth would have seen that coming back in say 1950s.

I get the notion and agree but considering how things are and realistically will be I stick with Russia and China. At least they are honest about being authoritarian/totalitarian shitholes that put you in a hole if you look at the leader the wrong way.

I lived a country that is considerably more authoritarian than Russia and you'd be surprised what you can get away with. Although, the recent events will probably change that.

I sympathize with Russia. It's not cool that the West militarizes the Ukraine and puts in puppet governments right at Russia's doorstep. Russia is in the right here. Also note that the war has been tremendously peaceful, Russia could have carpetbombed the Ukraine to shit, but isn't doing so. To me that can only be because the Russians are peaceful and sensible, and only want to get rid of the Western militarists puppets, and they don't want to hurt innocent ukrainian civilians or even soldiers more than absolutely necessary.
Personally, I bought a lot of stock in oil companies oil went to shit in March 2020. I stand to benefit tremendously from an ongoing conflict and sanctions against Russia.

Civilians being forced to arm and fight the Russians are victims of the Ukrainian government user. Feeding them marvel tier war propaganda to delude them and banning them from fleeing the country makes them victims of a government scared of losing its control.
