Literally 10/10's across the board. I usually don't care about reviews but holy shit this is actually the best reaction I have ever seen to a video game. It's literally getting unanimous praise this is the first time I have not even seen ONE bad review of a game. Lots of people are saying that it's the best game Fromsoft has ever made.

its just gonna be more of the same Souls shit

i dont have a pc that can run it, and ps5's are out of stock, despite the fact that the ps5 came out 16 months ago

Have they fixed the whole hacker situation yet?

I was annoyed by how much everyone was hyping it up but I'm actually glad it turned out to be good. Now there's solid proof to be excited.

Same. I can now wear my elden ring hoodie without feeling like a jackass.

Thats what ive been seeing, thats why I preordered it. I remember everyone saying the same shit about halo infinite though and look how that turned out
I like souls shit, one of my favourite game genres
What hacker situation?
Im installing it right now, we shall see
I have a gtx 1660 and intel i5-10400f but only 8 gb ram. Theyre saying 12 gb ram minimum so hopefully thats not too bad of an issue

>What hacker situation?
The one where if you're using network functions hackers can just walk in and own your system. Last I heard they had plans for fixing it after launch but I can't say I've had much interest in it since so I haven't heard much since.

Actually got curious and by all accounts they haven't actually fixed it they "think" they've put enough stuff in place to sort of side step it.
The REAL issue is fucking bamco is helming this. So, that's not great for it's future wellbeing...
I'll wait till it's properly out and those with actual details speak up, I guess.

Yeah maybe ill wait to play it too. I have 2 weeks where refund is still eligible, my plan was to play for half hour to see if my pc can run it smoothly at lower settings and if I cant Ill just refund. I should have just waited for benchmarks but i made an impulse purchase due to hype. I didnt even hear of this hacker situation though, wish I did now

Yeah I seen they just added easy anti cheat, as if that will stop actual hackers who know what theyre doing. I probably will definitely wait now or will just play offline, although the likelihood of me having to refund is relatively large so it might not matter anyway

Well that's mostly why I asked. I heard about it when the guy did the twitch stream take over but after that nothing and all I see are people talking about preorders and it's like either nobody knows or it got fixed but apparently it really just is nobody knows.

I just got the 60$ version I have not pre ordered a game in years I hope it runs alright on an Xbox one s

>Thats what ive been seeing, thats why I preordered it. I remember everyone saying the same shit about halo infinite though and look how that turned out
Have faith user have faith. Miyazaki-Era Fromsoft has never failed us.

i bought it as well
i'm hyped for it because it looks really good, but i'm kinda worried, because it kinda looks like open world DS3, and i fucking hated DS3
oh well, let's hope it's good

Yeah but what about this hacker shit now? I dont want to be the victim RCE hacks. Pretty sure all they did was add easy anti cheat

>paying for digital media

Same. I just preordered it for PS4 Pro. First time I have ever preordered a game in my entire fucking life. Apparently it runs at 30 fps but aside from that it runs fine.

>tfw first time my older gaming PC can't run a game.
>don't have the funds to build a new one
>haven't played on a console since the 360/ps3 era.

What specs does your pc have (assuming youre on pc)? I seen screenshots of someone running the game smoothly with 8gb ram so Im hoping that holds true for me

30 fps is good enough for me it got me through seki bloodborne and all the other souls games. I am not very picky. I think the last time I pre ordered a game was gta 5. I am really excited

There's no way to stop hackers man hackers are just a part of all online vidyas. In the first couple weeks I would stay away from online because it will be a shithole. But remember this is a Fromsoft game dude it's really meant to be singleplayer like 90% of the time.

Same dude same. I'm glad I can share my excitement with you guys. I haven't been this hyped for a video game since Red Dead 2. This is going to be a game we remember for the rest of our lives I can feel it.

2080 super, 16gb of ram, not sure about cpu
it should run fine for me, and even if it doesnt, i don't care, i'll just lower the settings
if it makes you feel better, i managed to (barely) run ds3 on my old shitty pc back in 2016
i had a 750ti, 8gb ram, HDD, and some shitty stock CPU
you should be fine, and if you're not, refunds are easy to get on steam, don't worry

Yeah thats true, Im still pretty hype regardless desu, havent played a souls game since my youth and havent actually played or enjoyed vidya in a quite some time, I just hope I can run it decently smooth, lower settings arent a dealbreaker for me, especially in this game where lower settings will probably still look very nice
