>physical
Nigger what?
Amazon is like that at the bottom levels
Move the boxes where they say, go home
Scan and check returned clothes for damages for four hours, go home
There are no unexpected problems you will have to decide how to solve on your own, nothing you do on one day will follow you to the next day and make your supervisor say "hey you fucked up" because all your mistakes disappear immediately into an enormous global system
too many boomers
what ??
but you still have to think
It's so slow now everywhere. I went to the dollar store yesterday and all two staff people were in the back on their phones. They only walked up to the register when I was ready to check out.
It never was like this.
Or like Mcdonalds even burger king tells you to drive up to the 2nd window. They no longer have 2 people at registers.
it's not any more thinking than running a cash register
they have scanners and computer systems that guide you through everything you have to do step by step to make it retard-proof
and in my state they pay 17 per hour starting
If he became PM would he go all out and kick the wogs out or would he be another Boris?
Thinking absolutely isn't required.
You scan the qr code on the box then you scan the qr code in the bag that the lights lit up around.
Take the 11 hour shift. If you're as good at not thinking as you claim, you should be able to jack into this job and wake up in a year with a fat wallet.
The dogshit 11 hour shift gives you about 18 an hour
>11 hour shift
bruh
>do physical work but not think too much
You need a job where you have to think. If you don't have to think your mind drifts and you get caught in a cycle of terrible thoughts. You find you have way too much time to think and you will always 100% get caught in bad thoughts about your life. You spend all 8-12 hours of your shift being miserable because of what is going on in your own head
McDorngals
but that's exactly the opposite. Your mind is focused on the things you do at your job and you don't have time to think about anything else
>Your mind is focused on the things you do at your job and you don't have time to think about anything else
That quickly goes when you get good at the job. Your body just autopilots while you just run shit things through your head the entire shift. You need a constantly engaging job, not McDicks
I think this user is kinda right. I used to think I want to use my brain only for my thoughts and nothing else, but always found myself in those jobs thinking that time is way too long or "when I'm done I'll do this and that" and it's really frustrating. I changed job to one I have to be somewhat invested in and now time flies. I don't really know if it's relatable to everyone though as my current job allows me to sit on my pc to to whatever I want every 10 minutes of actual labor
Yeah exactly its bs.
They had this nice shift that was 7pm to 2am that I was working. Amazon phoned me up at the end of the year and said the shifts gone; accept this bs 11 hour shift or no job. So I told myself I would endure this shift for that fat paycheck until it became unbearable. Thought I would quit sooner but apparently not.
If you want to just have a job for the sake of having a job, why not? It's work and they aren't paying too bad as of now. They pay 15 an hour where I live, our minimum wage is 9.65, and our living wage is 10.60.
If you were living with your parents, you could easily buy a small house in cash (140k or so) in a few years just working at mcdicks and maybe even make some friends.
>should I go to mcdonalds if I just want to do physical work but not think too much?
No, they will work you as if you are two people but will only pay you like one, so get ready for that. Maybe try doing Uber eats or instachart.
You will have a lot of time to just think while working unfortunately. You don't get to wear headphones there to have music or an audiobook just to distract you. but if you want time to think while your body is autopiloting that is cool, but most people just think about how much they hate what they're doing so-
Having worked fast food I wouldn't call it physical. Definitely stressful. The only physical job I had was at a sawmill and it fucking sucked.
