Apparently in the 80' the region I am living in already was under water. Not in depths but the coastline was deeper in.
That would mean that in last 40 years coastline have in fact only retracted.

Haven't they been saying this shit since like the 1970s? I take every single "we're going to be in the Apocalypse by [this year]"statement with a grain of salt because every time the date comes, nothing happens. Literally nothing. They keep saying that warmer temperatures means more storms and more severe storms right? The area I live in has its Winters keep getting warmer and warmer here by year yet we have not had a single fucking hurricane or even a tropical storm as far as I remember despite it usually happening around this time of year in my area. We even somehow had a freak snow day. Why do these people want everyone to feel fucking terrified when their predictions are always way off? Even meteorologist will tell you that their predictions after around 7 days should not be taken as fact because they aren't accurate. These people are essentially expecting us to take weather predictions that are DECADES into the future as the gospel.
