CS majors = soulless bugmen with no real with no real passion or intelligence taking what they perceive to be the path of least resistance to a white collar job

that's most college students in most majors

did someone fail calculus?

No, I didn't fail baby math for high schoolers. Although I'm sure it was very hard for a CStard like you.

What would you study instead? Great job prospects, if you want an intellectual challenge focus on the mathematical aspects, less dependent on uni name, networking or social skills.

There's no need to torture yourself user, you don't gain anything

out of everyone making money you are mad at incel nerds making some coin? get your priorities straight

My ideal CS job is to work 3 hours a week remotely doing meaningless SQL work.
I have no interest in deriving meaning and joy from what I do for a paycheck.
I'm not made for the corporate world, and unfortunately I'm not made for the world of couch surfing dream-chasing young lunatics either.
I fantasize about getting in a car crash and this giving me the strength to drop the facade that I want this future.

I'm thinking of dropping out and trying to make it as an amateur pornographer. I'm nearly certain that I would kill at it because I have a knack for advertizing, photography, degeneracy, and exploitation.

>no real passion
People with my passion who try to make a living from it are usually and correctly characterized as depressed heroin addicts
>path of least resistance to a white collar job
Yes. Is that supposed to be bad?

i didn't even get a CS degree and never took computer classes in college but i graduated and got a coding job (self-taught)

t. op cries for being a subhuman with nigger iq

I'm in a much harder major than CS (not a difficult thing to find).

No that would be lawyers

what's better then

The guy in that picture has a punchable face. I hate leftoids but mainstream kikeservatives are extremely annoying.

I am curious about what you majored in though if you would like to share.

I'm thinking of going into maths, opinion?

Probably a circlejerking math or physucs major, don't bully them too hard.

is bugmen the new lizard people or the new cuck
want to be up to date on incel slang

is bugmen the new incel?

not a new term

>Calculus = Baby Math for high schoolers
Go fuck yourself. This is hard math.
Trigonometric integrations are giving me stress for my first midterm.

>Go fuck yourself. This is hard math.
Just kidding, user. Ganbatte

I am passionate about things. I would not turn things which I am passionate about into my job because that would probably make me hate them. CS is easy and a good way to make enough money to provide for a family, and most importantly it gives me a lot of free time to pursue the things I am passionate about (reading, playing music, hiking, etc.). I have no student debt and I make all the money I need to survive comfortably, I would rather not spend a fuckload of money on tuition to get a degree in a field which does not pay out or which forces me to spend time on things I am not passionate about or which otherwise forces me to reduce something which I am passionate about into a means to make money.

Not OP but if you're smart enough to be a math major pick CS for the money. Get a minor in math or a dual major if you really want to. Your future self will be thankful. It's easy to be an idealist when you're in high school but the quality of life difference between making $250k/yr as a Software Engineer and making $40k/yr teaching Algebra to 9th graders is incredible. Unless you're cool with living with your parents or living with roommates until you're in your 30s you need a high income.

>start in cs
>wow programming sure is boring but i really like the logical/algorithmic parts of this
>switch to math
>get math degree
>all jobs asking for a math degree like programming as 90% of the responsibility
whoopsie

list programming as, even
