It's usually older white people from what I notice. Might just be younger generations being more exposed to it earlier but I've also heard that people who're higher in psychopathy also tend to like really spicy and/or really bitter foods more and I'm above the average level of psychopathy.

In my experience the old people I know who don't eat spicy food /can't/ eat spicy food. As in too much and they get heartburn for a few days. My dad is like that, but it only started in the last few years, he loved spice before that. I know that's just my experience, though, there are lots of different kinds of people out there, I'm sure regional cuisine can affect it too
