Obesity is first and foremost an information issue. Offer free nutritional education for adults, mandatory nutritional ed for elementary and high school. Make it so that being fat = being stupid. The common rabble respond to social pressure and social pressure ALONE, so make conformity include fitness. If everyone knows about CICO, surplus/deficit, and macros, then it would be *very* shameful to be obese.
Also, incarcerate the propagandists and marxists who peddle body positivity and say obesity is healthy.

Harder than it sounds. What qualifies as healthy? What do you subsidize; the farmer, or the food manufacturer? And which farmers? Corn and soi are heavily subsidized. Theyre so cheap it's cheaper to hire lab technicians to make corn syrup than it is to just use real sugar. Much of the corn also goes to animal feed which brings down meat, egg, and dairy prices. Cut those off and yeah you force Pepsi and coke to use sugar in their sodas and idk wheat and potatoes in their chips, but now meat is more expensive as is dairy and eggs. If you subsidize only the animal farmers, soon food companies will latch onto them for cheap goods. Now instead of corn chips everyone is eating jerky and having heart attacks from the sodium and kidney failure from snacking on 300g of protein per day and not working out.

Regulate food additives, preservatives, and put added sugar regulations in place as well. Delete corn and onions subsidies, subsidize fruits, vegetables, and properly raised meat instead. Food becomes real food again. PE across the nation is revamped into an actual class that you can fail, and fitness requirements must be met for all kids through the end of highschool (just like passing a math class). Also a revamping of health classes as well. Or if you want to do it the fun way just build fat camps and lock them in solitary isolation cells with hamster feeder water tubes with electrolytes and vitamins and a human sized hamster wheel as their only stimulus for a few months-years.
