How tight should my running shoes be? t.newbie

>t. last hug by non-family was over two years ago
>maybe I'll drop dead from heat stroke and nobody will find me haha

Even on the treadmill I have started to get knee pains. I've been running 3 to 5 miles almost every day for a few weeks now and I don't want to stop. I also seem to get numb toes more easily when taking a long shit. Besides stretching and resting what can I do to mitigate this? Already got better shoes and improved my gate to land less on my heel

where is this from
is she supposed to be a great norwegian athlete or something?

You have to rest retard.
If you started a few weeks ago you also need to gradually increase volume instead of jumping straight to 20 - 30 miles a week.

Tight enough for you feet to not slip out.

>I'm injured, and I want to make my injury worse
? Maybe time to transition

Fair enough. Any good sources on how long to rest and how to scale up?

Extremely person-dependent
Consider alternating endurance runs and beep test/HIIT runs - keep progressing but less wear on the knees/muscles

>29yo
>daily 20-30 min runs
>suddenly knees hurt
>break for three weeks
>slowly tried running today
>same hurt, same area

Im done right

Aging fucking sucks lmao
t.32 yo rooner

Have you tried doing something not retarded like running 3-4x a week instead of every day like you just started high school cross-country?
>t. 33yo aging millennial with no running injuries

Train for a (half)marathon using a plan. Doing the same run every day is asking for a repetitive strain injury

try swimming bro. it ain't the season though since pools are packed atm

Yup you are done with running shoes but you can run barefoot just fine, buy the cheapest foam flip flops cut the rubber thing that Holds the fest, lace the sole with shoelace, start running again start with 3k then move on. google barefoot chuaraches DIY on how to lace them
