I have decided that anecdotes are way more powerful than le peer reviewed studies
Give me your anecdotes on anything fitness related. I'll start:
>lifting makes your face look better
>lifting can make your body grow in height when you have the potential to still grow
>intensity is more important than volume

Number 2 is wrong

> training hard without sleeping enough will quickly lead to injury

Not eating all the eggs

Protein intake is wildly overrated

By how much, double?

>Stop wearing retainer
>Teeth start getting crooked again
>Start chewing gum to build jaw
>Teeth straighten out & fit together again

>Stop eating
>Lose fat
>Don't die

>i have a boner at all times lol

This is wrong AND gay

Protein also increases testosterone levels which helps you getting big faster

It isn't. Not if you start training in high school.

If you can handle the pain leaving your wisdom teeth alone during your teens and 20s will improve jaw and chin development.
>t.former chinlet poorfag who could not afford a dentist until last year

I grew an inch and a half in my 20's as soon as I started lifting

I see no evidence of that. High school football and weightlifting teams are filled with manlets.

I didn't say it was a golden ticket to 6'2 minimum.

Being sleep deprived for some reason makes me lift heavier

16/8 is the best long-term weight control, all forms of prolonged fasting will just make you binge

Watching porn/murder scenes between sets makes you lift heavier

You can train as much as your body allows you to. stop worrying about under and over training

Recomping is far superior to cutting
When you start to see abs peel through whilst remaining at the same weight it's quite odd but obviously anecdotal proof that its a better option

Yep I actually managed to straighten out my wisdom teeth by chewing on those super gums for a year. Previously my dentist recommended pulling them because it looked like they were coming in at a bad angle

Also on the topic of teeth, toothpaste is overrated as fuck, just floss and make sure they’re clean.

Impacted wisdom teeth can cause cancer

they shouldn't be impacted if you have a proper diet. Unfortunately the modern diet of almost all people is a bunch of grains and shit causing tooth problems

>Watching porn/murder scenes between sets makes you lift heavier
wat

This is correct. The study rounded up from 0.8 to 1.0 g/lb and that is only for optimal growth for body builders.

Don't do this. Your teeth only have a certain amount of mileage in them and needless chewing will wear them down decades in advance.

>lifting makes your face look better
some people at my gym need to be purged

>if you are a "hard gainer" you literally just need to bloatmax and everything will sort out.

>>lifting can make your body grow in height when you have the potential to still grow
LMFAO to be atch.
