In natties the answer is basically zero regardless (for pec tears vs tricep tears), so there's nothing to consider. Especially since very high level benchers bench both ways, depending on their style. Twinks usually bench my way, shws usually your way. But I've never had a pec or shoulder injury from benching this way, and it's been like 5 years.

This cope again, Bobbu? We've already dispelled this myth once a few months but in regards to deadlifting.
No, I haven't been using volume in my training so I think I can benefit a lot from it. I am only doing a top set per week only in all major lifts. Recently I increased volume in the bench press and it went up like 10kg in 3 weeks, so I think it may be doable if I increase volume in everything.
