Hair health is largely genetic. Brush it several times a day with detangling brush. You have to be patient. No way to speed it up. Just don't cut it. Here's my hair for reference:

Ditch the shampoo. It's going to be greasy for a while put you can use a shaving foam brush to put some starch in your hair which pulls out the grease. Just don't overdo it or it'll dry out your scalp. Also daily combing with a wide teeth comb. Don't worry about the hairs on the comb that's normal to lose 50-100 hairs a day. Don't cut it unless you see split ends. Go to a hair stylist that specializes in long hair. I started growing it out in june 2018. Cut it a few times because I fell for the meme to cut it every 3 months while growing it out. Then stopped and by june 2020 it was about four fingers above waist length. When you finally grow it out to your desired length go fora cut for the split ends every 6-8 months. Also as for a layered cut. It adds volume and looks better.

Glorious hair, man. I'm jealous. Had it half as long as yours and decided to cut it off because of a job. Will never do that again. Thx for motivation.

Yep fell for the "cut it regularly" meme too. Thanks for the layered cut/volume info!

herbal extracts
some herbs and spices have been proven to have hair growth effects
rosemary, cloves, tea tree, thyme, ginger
boil them, put the mixture in a spray bottle
let cool, then spray the hairline/scalp
make sure to exfoliate that area or create micro-abrasions
because sometimes hair follicles are clogged
by some epidermic buildup and when you remove
it, then the glans actually starts to produce a hair
and has the space to let it come out its canal

you may lose your gains after stopping treatment

to ensure long, thick growth
you need to wear your hair in a protective hairstyle
past a certain length or you will get some breakage
and lose length progressively
braids are usually a style of choice
avoid tying your hair up or braiding it too tight
as it might start to recede your hairline

You have to ensure that your hair has a healthy
balance of protein and moisture
for that you can use hair oils and masks
you can diagnose most hair products based
on whether there is too much or too little protein or moisture in them
the rest is a matter of over-correcting the intake
sort of like the acidity level

but most of all, you should always seek to make your own tinctures so as to control the use of chemicals such as silicons, sulfates which may clog your hair follicles.
You can buy and prepare most active ingredients on their own. It really ain't that hard. Heaps of youtube tutorials too.

How the fuck do you get that 'smooth/silky,' look to your hair? Is it even a good idea to do that as a guy? I have long hair and just trying to make it look better to mog girls.

Thanks bro. I've been growing it for about 5 years now, starting from a straight up buzzcut. I trimmed the ends once because women say that helps it grow faster. I didn't experience a difference. What helps for me is constantly brushing. It's been the best appearance-based decision I've ever made. Women absolutely love it. I've never been complimented by random women about anything more than my hair. And it's pretty often.

Here it is after cutting

argon oil is nice for that, just don't use too much

>come out shower
>dry hair to 90% dry, leave some moisture
>apply hair oil of choice (argan, jojoba, almond etc)
>give it a couple spritz of heat protection spray
>bust out the straightening hair drying brush or iron
>dry hair fully
>apply a little bit more oil, only just as much as you need to feel the hair go smoothly through your fingers
>get a few pumps of all natural aloe vera based hair gel
>apply to the hair making sure to flatten and sleek it as much as possible

voila, you should have a real nice smooth/silky and sleek look to your hair.
Other methods also involve buying some ''clear glazes'' which are transparent hairdye that just add some glistening, shining component as a glaze to your hair. Easy to put on in the shower for 2-3 mins or leave on for stronger effect for 30 mins. Schwarzkopf has one I use which really brought my dull hair back to a glimmering shine.

nice hair color, love it.
in a very manly and heterosexual way.

>be me
>28 latinX Omega Male
>middle child
>older brother has bald spot on the center of his cranium
>younger brother is 23 and has norwood 4 already. looks like a middle aged flip
>me, have long hair ever since middle school. look like El Desperado

guess not everyone wins the genetic lottery heh

looks like you want a big burly man to take you from behind and yank on yourt hair during power thrusts

what happens if i massage whey powder into my scalp?

My uncle on mother's side is 47 years old and has full head of hair, without a trace of balding or graying. All of his uncles and his father were bald by 30

if you want to get protein in your hair
you can boil some oats or chia seeds
keep the gel water leftovers
let it cool down into a gel paste
apply as a mask on your hair

also you can use other forms of supplements
vitamins or minerals such as zinc powder
which you can mix into a shampoo
or quick 5 mins conditioner
zinc helps with scalp issues such as yeast infections
which causes things like sebborheic dermatitis
and dandruff in general
it kills the fungus

thanks will do and experiment

beware though you can oversaturate your hair with protein
which can make it feel gummy and damp even when dry
you know that feel when hair is too greasy and also feels like its always wet
thats' too much protein in the hair

you have to use it if you need it
when your hair is dry, brittle, not moisturized

if your hair is too moist and saturated with protein
what you need to do to restore it is remove the excess or buildup oils, products, protein
by cleansing it (ie drying it) using products which contain anti-dandruff properties like zinc, ketoconazole etc...

it's a balancing act but soon you'll get just by feel of it what you should do. Too gummy and feels damp : dry it out. Too dry, moisture + protein.

looks amazing
