Shaming people with vices doesn’t work. In fact, it makes it worse because either the reality stresses them out more to use, or they rationalize it as exaggerated.
If someone wants to excessively drink, or smoke, or even do meth they ought to go right on ahead. They don’t need to be shamed by you or me. If there is any conscience in the person: the shame will come internally on its own.
This is a good philosophy to follow if you never wanna get laid.
