>she's benching next to me
>takes the micro plates I had prepared
>smile
>she takes out her earbuds and asks me if she's doing anything wrong
>tell her I was gonna use them but it's fine I'll bring some from elsewhere
>as she puts them on, tell her she should go higher
>she tells me it's her PR anyway
>tell her I can spot her
>she says she was gonna ask
>spot her, she actually gets 2 reps
>go back to my bench
>second later look up, she's standing over me and starts talking about how she couldn't bench the bar when she started and other crap
>we end up talking for like 15 minutes about random crap
>decide to ask her if she would like go out sometime
>she says sure but after she's done with her finals next week and gives me her number
>later on she's stretching on the mats
>walk up to her, sit down, we talk for another 20 minutes while she's stretching
>tell her I'll call her after the finals and we can see what's up
>2 days later
>be later than usual at the gym
>she comes in with some fucking guy
>say whatever, maybe it's her friend
>they seem way too friendly and like they know each other really well
>i'm obviously jealous to the point my gym bro walks up to me and tells me to go away and stop staring at them because it's obvious
>decide to walk up to them instead
>say hi, shake the dude's hand, give him a light shove and get in between her and him
>start talking to her for a few minutes in front of him
>bitch boy does nothing just stands against the wall and stares and me
>say have a good workout and walk away to finish my bicep curls
>later wave at her and go home

ok so what the fuck is going on here? I know I acted stupid but who the fuck could this guy be? how do I even proceed from here?

also some additional information she said she's not from her and she may be going back to her home town for the summer break so she doesn't have to rent out the room + mom would hook her up with a job there so idk why would she even be down for a date after exams if she's planning on being away?
