Correct model (linear regression) should look like this. This was “right” just because you’re looking at only part of the curve thats close to linear.
There will never be more than, this is just exemplary number lets say, 80% overweight/obese people, because ones doing physical jobs (always needed in any society) will be required to be fit/mobile/not have fat fingers to do it. And there are also many subcultures that will persist and be normal.
So no while this trend will probably continue for a while it will rich plateau and it will probably start declining shortly after due changing socio-econimic factors that can now be clearly seen on horizon.
