i actually have a pretty similar problem
i can easily do 10 pushups (and 3-4 chin ups with no assistance) no problem
apparently i have very very good body fat and muscle mass % (according to the gym checkup)
but doing more than a few reps with the bar is complicated; it only seems to affect bench presses and squats though
my friends say i probably have an incredibly shit back which sounds about right
