Alright be serious. I've seen all these memes about 70g of protein being too much now in a day, and like a month ago I was told around .5 to 1g per lb was recommended if I was on a bulk, which is it? Pic Rel my average day. Also drink about 200oz of water or more a day, and typically get about 500 cals burned in exercise 5-6 days a week.

I'm about 2.8k-3k cals - currently 220 lbs and 6'4" - am I just killing my liver?

you can't actually eat too much protein right ?

50-70 is what every normal person should eat, as anyone eating a high protein diet is 4x as likely to develop cancer.
However you are trying to build muscle, so you have to eat more protein. It’s 1gram per one of lean body mass.

my father who is almost 50 and does 2/3/4/5 for reps eats 150g-200g a day. He works all day with his hands and then lifts at the gym. He's fine.

>Muh cancer
You’re weak user

Okay, went some to some LBM calculator and I'm definitely not 27% BF, maybe 17-18 now. But there's no way I'm supposed to only eat 170g of protein and build muscle that seems like nothing.

Stop lying, kike

I eat 150-200g a day on 1500 kcal

>50-70
>normal
Nigga that's the MINIMUM
That is what is required for an average person to not atrophy their muscles. Anyone who is male and not a sedentary piece of shit is going to need far far more. Which is about 1 gram per lb of lean mass yes. That's a rule of thumb though, you may need more.

>bodyweight squats
Don't try this one bros, I accidentaly did one bodyweight squat and I ended up in the hospital with a disc hernia.

Also remember to ear your 10 servings of bread

You should have enough protein for it to be in the triple digits on any day you lift

I'm not saying you're wrong, but why wouldn't one want more protein on the days after the lift? Isn't that when the muscle is rebuilding?

lmao this makes fit seethe. Health doesn't equal muscle.

I wonder where that nigga is nowadays

According to what? Where are you getting 50-70 grams of protein from?
