I'd say it's a good idea to decline the bench press on pretty much every day you're not training chest.

a normal setup bench is already slightly decline
a true decline bench is even less rom than that
more dangerous and kind of useless exercise
if you wanna do an even more "decline-ish-rom" bench do dips
