AEW hasn't shown any consistent growth beyond its first year in any sense. Its whole schtick was that its not a Vince McMahon product, and nearly all its major draws are ex-WWE guys who mostly left/fired because they couldn't do anything in Vince's system. Vince is gone now and all the indicators are that Triple H is going to take the indie stuff he was building in NXT and grafting it to WWE's global reach.

In other words, AEW is about to run out of the only thing that makes it special.

AEW is a sinking ship, and I say that as someone who actually has preferred AEW to WWE ever since it came into being.
