I'm convinced you're the same guy that posted a roided hoplite and asked about romanmaxxing and now you posted a roman asking about greekmaxxing

I'm not. I'm a greekgrindcel. I hate Romanpilled losercels.4t4m4

i'll weigh in
>read iliad and odyssey and plutarchs lives
>weights, runnings, wrestling and boxing
>join some political body and become a loud mouth (democracymax)
>read some greek philosophy, but you should do your own philosophical investigations

ideally, you would start boxing and wrestling with some lads, form a junto club, then take over your city counsel or something

thanks greekbro, very helpful, Zeus bless.

suggestion for club name? recruitment method?

You've already got the sodomy part down

didnt they like work out for several hours each day. at least the guys competing because i dont think the average citizen was muscular except in sparta where physical fitness was mandatory and they could even exile you if you didnt get in shape

Alright here are my tips then
>Food
Lamb, barley, beef, lentils, beans, legumes, fish, dairy, fruits and veggies
>Drink
Water, dairy, wine
>Exercise
Run, wrestle, swim (also weights cause you can't give that shit up)
And tan as much as you can.
t. greek

Sea People-maxxing is next bitch.

Very nice, how do I onionmaxx odorcore signaling

I can get behind that. But you have to assyrianmaxx and egyptianmaxx first.
I'm dumb as shit and forgot garlic, onion, olive oil and spices

Unironically, the idea of founding some kind of club where we would practice martial arts, work out, read philosophy, etcetera, amazes me. Something along those lines is being done by Elisha Long and the High Thumos group, but I find those guys to be too vulgar and kind of your typical midwits.

You can make those threads too bro, help people find their fitness larp goals to motivate. I'm starting to be interested in Pictishmaxxing Highlandmode grindsetting

You do realize that's a statue of Julius Caesar, right?

Damn, mirin pictmaxxing. I'm a moderncel myself but I've been thinking of going celtmode and adopting bronzecore

I'm a historian, if there's anything specific you want to know feel free to ask. If you want to learn Greek history you should start with Histories by Herodotus, who was the first historian. He was born shortly after the first war with Persia, and grew up hearing stories about it from his elders. So he wrote a book to preserve those memories, and provides commentary on how trustworthy he thinks what they said was. There's a lot you'll learn about greek society from the details in that book.

Okay historypal, what lifts, what vocabulary, what attitude. How to work the modern grindset with the greekcel mode of life?

What did Lumerians eat? Is it keto? And did the Atlanteans mog them?

what about the people of Crete? Where Zeus was born?

Yeah I totally knew that. I picked by accident because it was next to Aleksandir the Great

yah, and it doesnt even need to be a formalized club, but more a loose group of acquaintances meeting together to develop physically, philosophically and politically. more like kids on a playground than an organized club. a general atmosphere, if you will

More like Julia Chadsar, amirite fellas?

You need to train like the monk d&d class and live in the monastery on Mount Athos where you've never seen a woman

Also begome Orthodox brother.

The Greeks were as a general rule much more interested in body weight exercises than lifting. An ancient Greek gymnasium (which is where our word comes from) was usually an open air area where people ran, wrestled, did pushups and situps, and what lifting they did do was with handheld stones that had a hole drilled into them for your thumb. Greek gymnasiums required everyone to be nude (which was a problem for ancient Jews living in Greece, as circumcision was a source of derision) and they were not so keen on bathing. That was a Roman thing. Instead the Greeks would get clean after a workout by having a slave boy cover their body in olive oil, and then scrape it off.

The ancient Greeks were a highly militaristic society where military service was an expected duty of citizenship, so citizens regularly trained military drills in armor. Those of a higher status who could afford a horse would train in riding, and everyone also trained to be an oarsman in the city's navy if it had one.
