another win

This idiot hasn't got a clue. Both WWE's current deals were signed when both RAW & Smackdown were drawing 1.0 in 18-49. Now they're doing on average 63% lower in 18-49 and have only retained the over 50 demo.

Also, AEW should be getting a much bigger bump considering that on average, it is doing half of what RAW pulls in (demo wise, it's only 0.25 lower in 18-49 on average)

You are too stupid for this conversation. See yourself out.

>TV Networks should pay more for a show that is drawing less viewers and a hell of a lot less in the key demo
yeah, I'm the stupid one.

When USA & FOX renew, they'll be again getting scammed for billions of dollars, only for WWE to be drawing 1.3m viewers and 0.3 2 years later.

Cable subscribers shrink 10% year over year you fucking moron. And that figure is only accelerating.

whats smeeeees gimmick looks like a belt just finished watching last years event last night, fun.

If you don't think WWE is getting an increase, you're not paying any attention. These deals don't go down. Period. They only go up. SmackDown wins the demo basically every week and Raw is near the top most weeks and is usually the top program on cable for the week. I don't know if FOX is going to want to renew SmackDown, there's weird stuff there that has led to rumors of FOX being dissatisfied like them wanting Punk and WWE jerking them around, and them having to promote Peacock on their network, etc., but NBCU is locked in on WWE, mostly because they have no fucking choice. USA has nothing going for it except RAW.

WWE is 100% getting an increase. Both companies are, it's just a question of how much.

Realistically why would AEW get an increase? If they offered them less, who would take them?

>there's weird stuff there that has led to rumors of FOX being dissatisfied like them wanting Punk and WWE jerking them around
Wasn't Ronda a big reason why Fox agreed to a deal? And she's been an antidraw and no longer SD exclusive

>Realistically why would the #1 show on cable get an increase?
how are you a real person?

They are number 1 on cable according to who and what? Is it only on a specific day for a specific demographic? Is it only on a chart that includes new content? Also by how much? Do they cost a lot more than the #2, if they are first? You’re missing a lot of context that will get taken into consideration.

Because the deals don't go down. They only go up. And AEW has preformed at the level to earn an increase for the entirety of their deal. They're basically Turner's #1 non-NBA show.

Yeah, the whole idea there was that Ronda was signed to a multi-year deal, and when SmackDown moved to Fox, she would become a SmackDown talent, but she fucked off after one year on Raw and only came back this year, and has been a complete non-entity since she came back. Brock was supposed to be SmackDown exclusive too. FOX really got swindled on that one.

But again, still the #1 show every Friday. So I dunno if they give a shit about any of that.

Why would they give a raise to a show that has steadily plummeted in ratings this entire year? Wouldn't they only give raises to shows that steadily improve?

>They are number 1 on cable according to who and what?
Go read the chart fuckass
>he takes the PLUMMET meme seriously
fucking christ this board is hopeless

>Wouldn't they only give raises to shows that steadily improve?
Buddy, I have something to show you.

It's called "every single media rights deal in sports and wrestling for the last decade". Guess what ALL OF THEM have in common?

Thanks for answering none of my questions. I accept your concession.

>he pretends there is any truth in the plummet meme just because he doesn't want to accept AEW isn't doing great
I thought they would be beating Raw by now, not be almost tripled in ratings by them

>$44 million for 52 weeks
Wow AEW really is about that no milly life lmao

Technically, they're around 55. He's neglecting the increase they got when they moved to TBS.

They were given to shows that consistently get over a million viewers?

>Brandon Thurston
lol
