Naiettyetty the double jannetty

such is the life of a main event jobber

It's ok, this Wrestle Kingdom is his

BASED OKADA BURYING THIS NO NAME JABRONI.

It's gotta be a sad feeling when you are a midcarder trying your best but your company wants to push only certain individuals in main event.

isn't he a bigger draw than Okada now?

Trying your best is not enough and it's for the best really. Imagine trying your best is all it takes to succeed. You need CONNECTION.

What is Okada connection though?

since 2016

He has the it factor, big time. Also he manages to connect with the crowd by being a god tier wrestler. Everyone loves him. They pop huge for his dropkick he builds up to for 20 minutes.

This is a business, no company ever works against their own interests

Source?

do you have a source? do some research and use your brain retard. naito sells a lot more merch, got louder chants, and won Tokyo sports map even when okada was champ

KWAB

He rose from then

So yeah, no source.

You think ACE was disappointed in Naito when he said that?

Naito isnt good enough to be the top guy
yeah i said it

Naito got fucked so hard he is mentally the Janetty of the biggest stars in NJPW despite being the 2nd or 3rd biggest draw in the company.

sad but true

Tanahashi was probably on his side tbqh
Naito came in and beat him at the New Japan Cup, which was pretty big, but at the time, the champ was Togi Makabe. They proceeded to have a draw in the G1 Climax, then Hiroshi Tanahashi beat him twice, all in the same year. Tetsuya Naito was put on the map, but he had a climb to make. A pretty similar climb to Hiroshi Tanahashi himself half a decade earlier. Okada just came in, beat a fellow Young Lion turned Graduate at Wrestle Kingdom, and took the belt off the very next month. From a booker and fan perspective, it's great, but I bet Tanahashi was still low-key pissed about it to that day and very understanding of Naito.

No doubt he was immensely proud of him when Naito managed to get back and become as popular, if not more popular, than Okada, the new Ace.

Naito is much more confident now, as he should be. Tanahashi is talking about how Naito was mentally defeated before he turned it back around. I doubt Naito has any resentment anymore.
