That's why you split up the workout like PPL or Upper/Lower so you always have 48hrs recovery for a given muscle group

If you're actually lifting hard you could do that for a month or so but then the CNS fatigue will catch up on you.

That's what 'deload weeks' are for. Point is 6 days a week is automitically better than 3 days a week in most cases.

I don't undertand how people have the time to be in the gym 6 days. Get a degree, start a business, get a girlfriend etc. all of those are more worthwhile pursuits

And if you're training 6 days a week without overtraining you are either on gear or not training hard enough (and I'm talking about intensity not doing 20 sets of weighted aerobics)
