I’m talking specifically about 30lb dumbbells, and in one continuous sitting. Pleasw answer honestly because I’m curious as to where I stand against Any Forums i’m relatively new to lifting and I bought these on the recommendation of another user but I can’t do as many as I was expecting but i’m hoping my body will adjust.

How many is a good amount? And can you expect to see any gains from these if you can’t do many? I can’t really do any other exercises with these other than curls and overhead presses, are these sufficient enough?

At least 20, for maybe 3 sets but definitely 2.

In one set I can do about 50 reps with either hand and I am: 192cm/6'4" 225 lbs/105kg 20% bodyfat, 22 years old and with ~3 years of training

You'll build up, user.
I'm And i started off with a diy set at 16lbs per, and cast iron 40lbs I couldn't even lift at first. Just do more volume at a lower weight, multiple sets a week, and you'll build up to it eventually.

assuming it's 30 kilo probably one with very bad form

16 on one arm

If your starting out you can definitely do goblet squats with them, add an explosive Jump at the end if it gets too easy. Also calve raises, skullcrushers, that thing where you squeeze them together using your chest muscles and push outwards, somewhat simulating a bench press 4yt00

Exercise for your body rather than making your body adapt to the exercises you perform. It is easier to build a healthy body than to repair a broken one.

No idea likely over 20

No idea, probably 5

if that's freedom weights then i dont know like 100
i use 25kg for my bicep curls

Rows for your lats, shrugs, farmer walks. Plenty to do with 1 set of dumbbells if yiur just starting out

Like 67 :proud:

is this 30 kilo per side?
desu probabaly 0

>thinking anyone can curl 60 kilos

you are retarded

squatting with 60 kilograms, on top of your spine

Go slow and really focus on feeling your bicep as you curl. Also try hammer curls. I'm getting nice gains doing that.
