gotta have long spears and surround it. every time it heads in one direction to attack one guy, poke it real hard from the other direction. that trunk could fucking grab a spear for sure, so going for the eyes would be hard. If you could roll/drop some boulders on one you'd be able to hurt it real bad, snap its leg or something, but thats not as sporting. depends on how easily they run. it seems like they where successfully chased off cliffs in north America (or is that just bison and im remembering wrong?) I bet if you hurt its "glutes" for lack of a better word it might go down, seems like a stress point, and they can't defend their back as well it looks like, idk how good they kick. I bet theyre scared of fire

Historically, animals this size would get chip damaged to death. We never did shit like in the OP image, we would find an old/young/sick/hurt mammoth and chuck spears at his ass until he bled to death. Those tusks exist as a sweeping crowd control weapon for dealing with pack hunters.

One of the Any Forums posters would be asking the others if it's even worth fighting the mammoth if he was born with suboptimal genetics for it, another would be asking if the mammoth was natty or not, one would be questioning whether girls even girl whether guys can kill mammoths, and the rest would be trying to suck each other's dick.

yeah I though about that after watching the video, questionable whether chucking spears would work as a well with stone points. theyre retrieving their spears a lot, so if you couldn't do that cause the animal is to dangerous youre gonna go through a lot of spears. there is a video in of them killing an elephant by chucking spears, but those ones have metal points

I for some reason was told I was proficient at long arms fighting when I was young. Was pretty impressed, thanked the guy and I just remembered about it...
We visited some stone age museum and they gave us teenagers a bunch of weapons to emulate how we'd fight a Mammoth.
The plan is you attack the Mammoth when he isn't directly facing you, trying to lure him to you so others can attack him. If it looks like he might hit you and you get hit you're fucked. If you strike his legs and head it's literally over for him.
Basically like movies, videogames and stories portray it. As said one takes the aggro and the others attack until he eventually tries to run away if you didn't manage to capture him/injure his legs or until it can't move and then you feast, bros. WAGMI.

Easy, we get the supposedly bad genetics black guy with moobs to stand far away and distract him. While the mammoth moves in for the attack, we get three powershitters to rapidly throw logs and boulders and its feet and eyes, disorienting it. Two calisthenicsfags can do their dexterity shit and use spears to start stabbing its head and ears. We can get an MMAfag to use krav maga on its balls and maybe snap its neck in half with an axe too. We can also rent Lee from /qa/ to tell the mammoth to die out, and at that point if our spec ops caveman raid hasn't killed it, it'll just kill itself.
