Are you really Any Forums if you use anything less than 30lb bells?
Are you really Any Forums if you use anything less than 30lb bells?
Go outside.
I do side delt raises with 8kg (17lb) dumbells
why are you inside
45* 30 is for dyels and pussys 45lbs is the bare minimum you should be doing for seated dumbell curls, anyless and YOU ARE GAY, inb4 some putrid faggot says bait, its not bait you're just a faggot
PUSSY
shut up dumb nigger I'm getting there after a long hiatus
did 7kg two workouts prior, 6kg a month ago. imma be moving on from woman weights soon enough plus delts are known to be small and weak
how much are those in kg?
im curling using 20 kg
Unless the hiatus is 2 years or more, stfu
its 5 years actually
There’s a few really jacked guys at my gym who compete and they all use like 25-35s for variations of curls. Is there anything to this bros?
What do they compete at?
No, actually anything below 150 is for dyels, and that's conservative. Imo, the real dumbbells start at 400 lbs and above.
Any Forums is wonderful for getting newbs informed enough to start but Any Forums also religiously focuses on low-rep, high-weight compounds
Some high-rep, low-weight sets of dumbell curls is a great addition to a "back day" done at the end and to failure. Most of Any Forums is too vain to be seen struggling with a 20lb dumbell despite its efficacy as a training method
I know two guys do classic and their other friend I’m assuming is just real deal heavy weight bodybuilding or whatever it’s called.
I dont get it. I do 40 lbs curls and im dyel. I-is it over for me?
>20lbs
BITCH I AINT NO TRANNY
ITT people not doing their lat raises or 'doing' them with shit useless form
Higher weight bell reps help me do lat raises with lower weights with ease
It makes sense if you're going for hypertrophy. Been lifting for ~7 months and I can bust out 12 reps at 25lbs for the first 3 sets, but gotta go lower after that. Honestly biceps just progress slowly weight-wise compared to other muscles.
Some people or even body parts seem to respond to heavy weight low reps and others lower weight high reps. I keep getting stuck if I only do the 8-15 sorts of ranges and always have to do a peroid of much lower reps or one rep maxes to get things going again. I'm sure some PENCIL NECKED ROCKET SURGEON will have some theories on this.
Idk. If I see them today I’m just going to ask them. If the thread is still around tonight I’ll post back what they say.
They’re clearly not natty, so idk if that changes anything, but they’re actually a nice group of guys - serious, but one ice spotted me randomly when I was struggling. I’ll post back tonight.
