You aren't tired enough lol. Try laying on back on floor during the day watching TV or something to get used to it
The only method I found that worked is to be so sleep deprived that any position will do. However, when I do managed to fall asleep on my back I am very stiff and my back hurts the next day, so don't fall for the meme that it's always best for everyone. I think people like me with APT shouldn't sleep on their backs due to how the lumbar curves.
I need a gf
This is false your bed is soft sleep on the floor no pillow. I've been doing it for years and now a bed hurts my back
>sleep on the floor no pillow
sounds like torture. I'm too muscular to sleep without a pillow, otherwise my head is out of alignment with my spine.
I am tired. I'm tired to the point that I'm miserable and just want to change positions is sleep but I force myself to stay on my back.
>I think people like me with APT shouldn't sleep on their backs due to how the lumbar curves.
Try a pillow under your legs, it's helped me feel more comfortable.
Taking forever to fall asleep is annoying but manageable. The main problem is staying asleep/sleep quality, I wake up multiple times during the night and then it's hard to fall asleep again.
Why would you even want to do that?

>muh neurodegeneration
who cares my dude, my minds sharper than 99% of boomers and when I'm 70 with dementia I'll just kill myself. I'm sleeping on my back for the skin benefits.
>Try a pillow under your legs, it's helped me feel more comfortable
I tried that but it becomes impossible to sleep because my body is a furnace and having a pillow there is extremely hot and sweaty.
T. Sleeps naked and has the window cracked open during winter.
When I don't use a pillow my neck hurts a lot for some reason.
whats with the obsession of sleeping on your back? it's not a natural posture
>the skin benefits.
lolwut?
Never mind, you must be some kind of faggot to consider that, so your brain's already rotted.
Probably means not pressing your face into the pillow.
less wrinkles because face > everything else
i have the same problem
i tried every thing possible, didnt work
even deep relaxation/meditation is impossible lying on my back, if i go deep enough body just starts shaking
and then last summer i got hit by a car and spent 3 weeks in the hospital
for the first 10 days i was physically unable to turn to the side, I was heavily drugged 24/7 lying on my back and i still couldnt sleep, max i could get is 2-3 hours of very shallow "sleep"
i basically gave up after that, i just lost the lottery
Seems like a lot of the time I fall asleep on my back I get a visit from the sleep paralysis demon. Never had sleep paralysis sleeping on my side or stomach. I tend to avoid sleeping on my back.= now.
>i basically gave up after that, i just lost the lottery
sadly this might be my case too
Rest your head in the crook of your elbow. And if you have some collagen in your diet, your skin won't wrinkle -- that's what the sheets and pillow cases do.
if you're concerned about your skin, you do have silk pillowcases, right??
What other anons have said about face skin health but for me it’s mostly that it makes it much easier to cuddle
of course
I can't either. I am trying to sleep on the floor on my back to fix my posture, but then I just end up laying there for an hour or two. For whatever reason though, once I move to my bed and actually fall asleep I wake up feeling so much more rested than when I just get straight into my bed.
I never really thought about this but I fall asleep on my side while reading something on my phone, but then right when I'm on the verge of sleep I roll over to my back while dropping the phone.
If I wake up at night though the easiest way to get back to sleep is to go on my stomach and bury my face on the bed
