Squats every day

>squats every day
>doesn't deadlift every day
>210kg squat
>265kg deadlift
doesn't this disprove his own idea that frequency is the best for strength? or is it just proof that leverages and genetics matter more than how much work you put in for a lift?

Deadlift requires almost zero training frequency to get better at it though

it’s true sometimes I don’t DL for weeks

he hasn't added much if anything to his squat in forever. ive added 80ish kg to my squat since oct 20

wow surely that rate will last forever!

Imagine bragging about being brand new to lifting. Going from 20 kg to 100 kg is not the same as going from 210 kg to 290 kg

Big overlap on those lifts

He's stronger than me and is a good dude

it was 300kg to 377.5kg in comp in sept 21.
possibly better if i didn't focus strongman a bunch too

well his squat is obviously much stronger now but he rarely attempts prs and doesn't seem to go for heavy singles at all anymore

210kg squat is insane

>Insecure tranny becomes insecure when someone achieves something without roiding that he could never

Many such cases!

DL is almost all CNS. I trained for 3 years and never did deads or squats. Randomly decided to max out my DL one day and did three plates, and could’ve gone higher if my grip didn’t fail.

>I trained for 3 years and never did deads or squats
dafuq did you do? calisthenics? johnny bravo mode bodybuilding? anyway it makes sense that his cns would be stronger than pure strength from squatting every day if you follow pavel tsatsouline. it would be interesting to see if he got better faster after switching to something with slightly less frequency to see if pavel overstates the importance of the cns

Leg press like once a week was all I did for legs lel. I started doing deads and squats once my bench stalled around 3pl8 and I got bored of lifting as a result

>Train for 3 years
>DLs three (3) plates
Uhhh...user...I've been lifting for less than two years and I use 3 plates for reps (double overhand no straps)

Yeah the point is I never actually trained deads and was way above somebody who never lifts. Just doing any kind of lifting will make you better at deads because deads are just a test of your CNS. I’m not bragging about my shit lift

kek so your bench was the same as your deadlift

The fact that you think that deads are just a test of your CNS really makes me believe you about you never training deadlifts.

Frequency is the biggest meme in fitness. It all comes from one study where they found that UNTRAINED subjects had a 3% stronger leg extension when they trained it twice a week. There were no other differences then youtube fitness just took it to its extremes.

My deadlift has always increased after taking a month off it.

None of the powerlifts are technical lifts. The sport was invented to be as basic as possible because people were getting annoyed at how technical oly lifting was. You put a bar on your back and squat down.

Squat builds deadlift
Not every lift is equivalent and has equivalent frequency demands

>How come this guy who only trains his legs and lower back is good at an exercise that uses the legs and lower back
It truly is a mystery
