Insomnia?

I reccomend you to go to the street and run for like 15 minutes, this made wonders for me, I go to the shower and when I hit the bed I'm dead

I have the same problem op and ive tried and do every sleep hygiene thing imaginable. There are also no good sleep aids that dont make you groggy. I have adhd so just daydream about shit instead of falling asleep

ive had this forever, havent had a good night sleep yet this year, I dont use electronic devices or anything

For me blue light and browsing things that stress me out are the sleep killer. But for staying asleep?

- Fast as needed to lower insulin sensitivity. If I eat a lot (I eat too much) I wake up hungry as hell and eat and fall asleep again instantly. This also has ruined drinking for me pretty much. I need to get my insulin sensitivity back in check, there are some good videos on YouTube about this by doctors.

- finish your water drinking early. I drink a shitload of water but never less than like 3 hrs b4 I sleep. Don't want to wake up to pee.

- blackout curtains
- exercise every day so you feel actually tired. Not every day has to be intense but at least for me I feel a sense of shame if I've just been in my chair doing intellectual stuff all day.
- I take kids melatonin because I heard the standard dose is way too high? I also heard it messes up hormones. So if sleep schedule is off just take 1mg of melatonin at a time. I honestly can fall asleep off like 3 mg usually, will prob try 2 tonight.
- STAY ON SLEEP SCHEDULE
- Go outside during day
- Lose weight
- NoFap

It's a lot of shit but at age 28 I finally get decent sleep. A lot of factors mostly stress had ruined my sleep for past 5 years. Not getting good sleep makes me want to die, not in a meme way just feeling like shit every day is a good reason to die. It's worse feeling than chemo and nobody has sympathy for ur sleep ailment lol good luck

I don't know why people insist on lying about this shit, they're always doing the most obvious thing ever that fucks up their schedule

You need to shorten your sleeping window, and get up at the exact same time everyday. Your sleep has to be short enough so you will not experience fractured sleep. Go to bed only when tired. If you wake up and can't sleep just get up.

I'm doing this now. Look into sleep restriction therapy. I'm an adhd non stop thinker too.

i'm talking, I eat dinner and i drink damn near 2 liters of water, and i make sure that all that big ass jug of water is gone ~3 hours b4 i lay my head down to rest. I take a final pee before bed too. you might be talking about baby sips, I don't do baby sips
