Why is it that many people, especially powerlifters/oly lifters/ gymnasts look dyel, even at heavy weights

why is it that many people, especially powerlifters/oly lifters/ gymnasts look dyel, even at heavy weights

whilst the average curl/bench bro looks pretty jacked 1 year in

Most people who can squat > 2 plates but don't bench 3x a week look like they've never been to the gym before.

video related,

this whore looks like she doesn't even lift yet can squat > 2 plates and dead >4

her legs look chicken and arms are basically sticks like most powerlifters

She has lanky skinny physique, long legs and arms that makes her deadlift easier.

She also looks great, now lets see your whore of a girlfriend OP

>why do people who do strength training build less muscle than those who do hypertrophy training?
gee, i wonder, truly it is the great mystery of our times

I'm 5'9 and only weigh 64kg and I look twice as thick as her in the upper body, I presume she is under 5'9 and nearly 63 kg her weight class.
I don't get it, maybe her legs and glutes mog mine. I haven't squatted or deadlifted for the past 3 years so I've probably lost 5 kg from my lower body.
But my upper body is the same so I look like I am 68 kg when I'm wearing pants because most people only notice the upper body.

Answer is obvious but beneath the surface is the question why most people who go to the gym these days train like this girl and not like a curl bro? The vast majority of us are no longer competitive athletes. Like it or not the human eye is more impressed by a massive upper body on a man than a massive lower body.
>tfw bench 3 plates and squat two for my sets

>why is it that many people, especially powerlifters/oly lifters/ gymnasts look dyel, even at heavy weights
>whilst the average curl/bench bro looks pretty jacked 1 year in
There is a high change you are biased in your observations.

2 plate squat is beginner level reachable by most in the first year and even in the first 6 months so there is no wonder you see 2 plate squatters with shit physiques.

>this whore looks like she doesn't even lift
>her legs look chicken
No they don't. You have very poor perception. And your post reeks of a DYEL that needs to lurk moar

>sumo

>>tfw bench 3 plates and squat two for my sets
thought it was just me

after my 2 plate bench I remove half the plates unrack and warmup my deadlifts with 1 plate, then put them back on and do my dead reps

my legs are the same size before I even ever lifted despite a 12 plate leg press and 2 plate squat, still have chicken pencil calves too even at a half a tonne calf raise (can lift most small cars)

Strength is correlated with muscle size but it is far from a perfect correlation. Moreover, some people just don't have the insertions to look jacked, and most powerlifters and only bros just don't bother with the requisite accessories to look like they lift.

People being in the wrong weightclass. (too light)
Having good muscle insertions and short levers so they can lift a lot without a lot of muscle mass.
Having good technique that lets them lift more with less.

> super wide bench that's not even particularly high
> why are her arms skinny

> 2 plate squat
That's why your legs aren't big.

Because they are specialising in specific lifts that don't require a bodybuilder aesthetic. Look at her thighs, they are fucking huge, she looks like a man from the waist down.

If all you care about is aesthetics and pussy then all you need is big arms and chest, so you can just concentrate on those exercises exclusively.

A lot of powerlifting comes from the underlying body structure than sheer muscle mass, though muscle mass can help. They don't "slow and control" their reps which means a high force production, which is shown to basically deactivate the muscle fibers during the midrange of the movement with maximum tension only achieved at the beginning and end of the movement. Instead, a lot of the stress is moved to other parts of the body, like the tendons which is why over 70% of all powerlifters are always injured. The ability to improve this is also highly genetic which is why powerlifting programs stop working for people once they're not novices anymore. The more consistent way to increase strength in people with average genetics is to increase muscle mass.

So, to the dyels that think "strength training" with heavy singles and shit is going to get them big like Bugenhagen, you first need to gain like 80lbs.

>12pl8 leg press
>2pl8 squat
How much more proof do we need that the leg press does absolutely nothing.

Interesting take.
Then if I've been lifting for 8 years, I should leave the 1-5 rep range behind?

I mean, I understand the basics, but just dont like training at higher reps for some reason, adaptation probably.

sumo deadlift is not deadlift

>So, to the dyels that think "strength training" with heavy singles and shit is going to get them big like Bugenhagen, you first need to gain like 80lbs.
doing singles is not going to do anything
singles are fitness theatre, posted on youtube for dudes to show how "strong" they are
it's egolifting that gets picked up by naive zoomers

>dead >4
>mixed
>sumo
She's ego lifting

You will never be a real woman. You have no womb, you have no ovaries, you have no eggs. You are a sodomite twisted by drugs and surgery into a crude mockery of God’s perfection.
All the “validation” you get is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back people mock you. Your parents are disgusted and ashamed of you, your “friends” laugh at your ghoulish appearance behind closed doors.
Men are utterly repulsed by you. Perfect fine tuning by God has allowed men to sniff out frauds with incredible efficiency. Even trannies who “pass” look uncanny and unnatural to a man. Your bone structure is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get a drunk guy home with you, he’ll turn tail and bolt the second he gets a whiff of your diseased, infected axe wound.
You will never be happy. You wrench out a fake smile every single morning and tell yourself it’s going to be ok, but deep inside you feel the depression creeping up like a weed, ready to crush you under the unbearable weight.
Eventually it’ll be too much to bear - you’ll buy a rope, tie a noose, put it around your neck, and plunge into the firey abyss of unending pain below. Your parents will find you, heartbroken but relieved that they no longer have to live with the unbearable shame and disappointment. They’ll bury you with a headstone marked with your birth name, and every passerby for the rest of eternity will know a man is buried there. Your body will decay and go back to the dust, and all that will remain of your legacy is a skeleton that is unmistakably male.
This is your fate. This is what you chose. There is no turning back.

>powerlifters/oly lifters
these don't fit in
>many people

There are two reasons

>powerlifter/oly lifters
Because their training is super specialized and because they don't want to put one more gram of muscle than absolutely needed because of wheight classes (barring the heaviest classes where you see fat fucks). Why would that girl ever train arms or gain more mass in her legs if she's already a world record holder that way?
Would you criticize a marathonist for not looking jacked? Or a sprinter for being weak at swimming?

>people in general that have some strength
Again, most normies never get to two plates squat or ever deadlift. Most people that do these lifts are following a strength routine, so don't train purely for mass. Also this Obviously that the curl bro that trains purely for muscle growth will have, in general, a better physique

You are correct sir! A man of taste and common sense I see.
