This website is my only hope. The only way I can dedicate a meaningful amount of time to any hobby (or really any aspect of my life) is if I turn it into a joke. If I try to take anything seriously, whether it be a relationship, a hobby, whatever, I end up getting bored of it and abandoning whatever it was within a few weeks. I started coming here because a lot of the posts are pretty funny, and eventually it forced my brain to make the connection that fitness = funny.

I've committed to this joke that I'm going to get as jacked as I possibly can before I see my friends again (they don't know I'm lifting). I'm probably not going to see them for another 2 years, so I have a bit of time to work with. I went from never having lifted before in my life to removing half the furniture from my bedroom so I could fit in a squat rack and work out first thing in the morning. I even started doing GOMAD to bulk because it's seen as a meme around here. The truth is I actually just want to get in shape, but I'll never achieve anything unless it becomes a joke to me. I exist as my own personal clown.

thanks to Any Forums i am now in the top 1% networth for my age bracket, after being poor as fuck and having nothing going for me. In the near future, this same current investment will likely make me a multimillionaire. Any Forums has strongly benefitted me and i have no reason to stop coming here. if you cant come here without getting wrapped up in the incel blackpill nonsense then thats your problem
