Yes, better range of motion, more muscles involved to stabilize weights. The only benefit of barbell is you can move more weight and feed your ego

Dumbbells are harder to "lift heavy" with because getting them up and into position is a workout all its own. I personally think they're better to use if you're alone for safety reasons and I used to do them myself, but honestly you might as well just do decline pushups at that point because you probably won't have dumbbells that make up 80% of your bodyweight combined (the amount you're "benching" with a pushup with raised legs) and if you did you probably couldn't get them in position anyway.
I only have adjustable DBs at home and I can't drop them so it's not really worth it.

The only thing you need to do is always make sure you end the rep before trying to rerack it. If you can't end the rep, lower it and do the roll of shame. 100% of these accidents happens because people are idiots who panick and try to rack the bar while they haven't locked out yet.

Deadlifting the dumbbells onto your knees. Pushing up your knees so the dumbbells are at shoulder level. Lean back. Begin.
Not really a workout if you ask me.
Still takes considerable technique and involves a lot of muscles once the DB get heavier.

I like barbell bench better because it's a bitch to go heavy with dumbells and I'm not a complete brainlet so I'm never worried.

Just doing those 2 things you can either roll the weight down your chest and stand up or if you somehow fuck that up then you can unload the weights off one side and be fine. You have to be retarded to get life filtered by bench.

im pretty certain this was on the Smith Machine, the gym had a rule about being supervised if you were under 16, and he obviously wasnt using the safeties just like that Mexican lady who got guillotined recently
