Fasting is MUSCLE SPARRING. You DO NOT lose lean muscle mass fasting.

Start by trying a 72 hours fast. This will get you over your fear of not eating, and force your body into ketosis (the fat burning state).

god i hate eating sometimes. im 6'2" 150lbs 9%bf so i don't do more than 72h fasts more than weekly. 'm OMAD though

In the last month, the snake juice recipe went from 0.5 tsp of salt to 1.5 TBSP of salt. Look at the picture attached and it says 0.5 tsp. Do you retards know how much a TABLE SPOON is.

I'm going to repost my post in this new thread I wanna know if I can do this fasting thing I want to do it starting tomorrow for 3 days.

Wait so I shouldn't do a 3 day fast? I've been doing OMAD for months now, I eat at 3pm, 1500kcals, feels fucking awesome but this extended period of time on a caloric deficit makes me start behaving as if I had a period and was on it after a while. Also got covid early this month, after almost 2 weeks I was feeling better and started pigging out with the excuse of calorie deficit impacting my immune system. 2 weeks of being a pig and I gained 2 fucking kg, basically the progress of 1 entire month thrown into the garbage so I wanted to do a 3 day fast to atleast undo half the harm I did.

Will a 3 day fast fix your problems? no.
Should you do it? yes.
Do a 3 day fast to prove to yourself you wont die, and then just do rolling 48s or OMAD with an occasional 48.

I start my week with a 48 hour fast, and do OMAD the rest of the week. Went from 83 to 81kg in one month.

I prefer not to. I find I already get a weird energy boost from fasting and I don’t work out fasted so I can get away with not drinking coffee. Which makes it a good time to take a rest from caffeine in my opinion

Is there a "simple" correlation between your TDE fasted and weight lost?
Is it as simple as 3500 calories = 1lb fat.
Therefore a deficit of 3500 would generally cause you to lose 1lb of fat?
Over a week a deficit of 7000 would tally to 2lb of fat?

I don't want to fix anything I want to lose the weight I regained. I already know how to eat normally, OMAD is what I do, one meal at 3pm I feel godlike doing it I just fucked up and fell off because of covid and my excuses. I've tried fasting without snake juice and first day at 7-8pm I start to get dizzy that's why I'm asking if it's alright because last thread in the OP it said to not do 3 day fasts as a beginner. Plan is to do 3 days of fasting and then 1 week of OMAD at maintenance then 3 days of fasting then week of OMAD and so on

Just do 16:8 or 3MAD until you feel disgusted with yourself.

You could also try the good ole purposeful binge feast until you feel like throwing up. I once at a whole meat lovers pizza, 2 burgers a 6 pack of beer and what may have been a pound of chocolate. Gained some, but ended up dropping 10 over next week because I was focused again

The least I can do is 18:6, eating less often means I will either forgot to eat or eat too irregularly and I can't rely on hunger/apetite since it's pretty much dead by this point (all I have is vague sense of something in stomach, nice feeling of being empty or agony of being bloated). I'm still wondering whether I should force myself to eat tomorrow exactly bmr and do that until I normalize or should I AGAIN let myself fast for whole day or two and then go with that plan

I don't understand. Sounds like it worked fine, you were sick enough of food to to stay away a few days. Don't get too hung up on it, humans are supposed to go through feast and famine cycles I think
