Would 1/2/3/4 be enough to defend myself from a mountain lion?

Yeah most mountain lions would leave you alone at that point. You could probably fight one off. However, if you had it backed into a corner or had to fight one to the death in an arena, my money's on the cat.
No, in fact you don't even need to lift.
Source: Went winter/summer hiking and bear/mountain lion ran away from me.
If you're a skinny manlet and not stout you'll die.
It's more about finger length and stamina, than brute strength to properly satisfy a cougar enough to prevent further aggression.
Man that looks comfy af
just buy a gun
0% chance. Im closing in on 2/3/4/5 and im not delusional enough to think i could fight a mountain lion. They're fast, and strong, and have very sharp objects attached to their body. That being said, it's still just a huge pussy. I might could probably scare it off by raising my arms to look bigger or whatever the fuck, but in a fight, it's gonna get your throat or cut you up something fierce with them claws. Game over.
Why do Americans always point out how dangerous Australian wildlife is? You have literal fucking lions and big ass grizzly bears in America
>closing in on 2 plate ohp
Damn based, you're strong as shit. Are you bloatmaxxed or what?
Pretty much. The bulk has gone a little too well for way too long
We have jaguars in my state
Our wildlife can kill you while being the size of a coin
You can't
Big cats are apex predators
They're basically xenomorphs
Yeah but imagine if you pissed it off
My domestic cat will bite me just for touching its belly
Imagine if he was 100x the size, jesus
But those are extraordinary and most people never see them. The scariest part about the scary strayan wildlife is how mundane it is. You got spiders the size of toddler in your house and you don’t even think twice about it.
Huntsmen are the worst
Fuck those things
best to train your eyes and ears instead of your muscles. If it wanted you it would get you and you will likely never see it coming, no amount of muscles will help.
here in BC you see bears all the time in the summer. They are mostly chill and will come and eat your trash if you leave it out. personally i've see them dozens of times, cubs too. mountain lions are super rare to see. I've never seen one in my life even though there are a lot of them here.
we have a saying about mountain lions: if you ever see one then it's already too late, you're fucked; they only reveal themselves when they are ready to kill you.
most likely they have been already stalking you for a while and have decided to strike now so no need to keep themselves hidden. That is if you are lucky. If you are unlucky you won't see it until it is almost on top of you

I remember seeing some movie where there was a guy in it and he said if a big cat gets close to you the only thing you can do is charge it and hope it gets scared and runs
What if it is its den? You charge a mom and it'd probably be game over. Seems dumb.
If you find yourself in a wild lion's den then you're dumb
you want to convince them that it is going to be too much trouble to kill you, one way is size; if you are really huge they will probably leave you alone unless they are starving, so I guess that is one way muscles actually can help. Dogs and children are most common targets.
i am not sure I would rush a mountain lion, if anything because I would be shitting myself
I'd probably pick up some big rocks and back away slowly while making retard noises and throwing rocks at it's feet to try and scare it. If you turn your back on a mountain lion it's game over.
Don't need to. Black bears and mountain lions are afraid of humans. Stand tall and put your arms over your head, and make loud noises.
You never encounter the big animals. It's the spiders and snakes that take thousands of lives every year.
