>What do I do first?
1. Read physiqonomics.com/fat-loss/
2. Calculate your Body Fat Percentage: fitness.bizcalcs.com/Calculator.asp?Calc=Body-Fat-Navy
3. Calculate your TDEE: sailrabbit.com/bmr/
Remember to use bodyfat% and use Katch-McArdle Formula with sedentary settings or your TDEE will be too high.
4. Plan your weight loss: losertown.org/eats/cal.php
5. Track your nutrition with MyFitnessPal (better for packaged food), Cronometer (better for generic food/macros) or LoseIt (great for both).

>Now what?
Count calories, all of them.
Eat about 500-1000 less calories than your TDEE.
Buy scales, be accurate.
Learn to cook. Try to stick to lean protein and green vegetables.
Eat a lot of protein. 1g per lb of goal lean body mass.
Doing cardio, even just walking, will improve your health. There is no such thing as a healthy fat heart, but you can offset the risks.
Lifting weights will keep and gain muscle mass and burn fat much quicker. No lifting results in the body burning away muscle AND fat.
Drink more water.

>DON'T
Eat refined sugars, they're terrible for you regardless of calories.
Eat processed foods.
Drink your calories (alcohol, soda, starbucks).
Freak out over a weight loss stall. Plateaus can last up to three weeks.
"Reward" yourself. Cheat days cheat only yourself.
Be a retard.

Do you guys have tips on just getting yourself back on track and sticking with it? Back then I was able to have some insane self control, allowing myself to lose 50 lbs by omad with excercise going on. But classes have put myself under extreme stress (8 to 9 classes a term, but im almost done). And over that time, omad was out of the window, ate shit foods, ubereats/doordash. Im a fat shit, Im getting back on the exercising but I want that omad level back and stop eating shit food. I hate myself, but my career is on track for what i want exactly. Please help, tips, anything

Me on the fucking right (okay im not that fat, but if i dont control myself)

Unless you binge eat a crazy amount like a retard, fasting is a no brainer.

If I grow a beard to hid my face and lose 40 pounds, will I be a normal?

Attached: 1644472618852.jpg (600x801, 108.43K)

I binge ate 3600 calories worth of taco bell and 500 calories of chocolate cookies yesterday, and in fact that used to be a "normal" day for me

Food is the closest thing to happiness in our lives. Going a day or two without it is rough.

I think the main reason it's so hard to lose weight is just being too busy all the time. If I dedicated my whole life outside of work to losing weight it wouldn't be hard. Not eating puts too much stress on my body and fucks up my studying

Really it kinda the opposite for me. I can go to work and skip breakfast and maybe lunch so unlessI'm retarded for dinner I'm usually good. But on weekends I snack all day. Today I baked some bread and made some cookie dough thats in the fridge.

Thats exactly what im dealing with, i could turn to other forms like alcohol or cigs but i choose not to. Plus cigs are really expensive here, and food is much easier to access, like with those delivery apps. How do you cope with stress

So you’re telling me I can still eat fast food, as long as I’m under my TDEE?

>save money by not eating
>get into a hobby you couldn't afford before
>new happiness found
Fasting gets easier the more you do it. I can afford slightly nicer food and still save money IE olive oil and butter instead of vegetable oil. I eat a lot less PUFA filled processed shit.

I recently went from part-time to a full-time job. I'm going to get into building models. Gunpla, vehicles, anime etc.

Basically but fast food is so calorie dense that it's not really a satisfying meal. Like a McDonald's regular cheese burger and a soda is like 600 calories. An actual meal is probably 1200+

you could and yes you would lose weight, but the fast food would probably increase your cholesterol and LDL levels which im not sure if you want.
I was able to do that before, but stress is fucking me up causing my to get off my omad streak (im ). at least youre in a good state

Absolutely disgusting

Unironically start drinking and/or popping pills. Alcohol, ECA stack and other stimulants suppress appetite and can increase weight-loss. They will make the first few times you start fasting easy as fuck and then you can stop doing them when you feel like it.

I sometimes do what I call grog-fasting. I add 1 fl oz (less than a shot) of dry liquor to a 0 calorie drink and sip on it while I'm at work.
>reduces body aches (keeps ship crews working all day)
>increases HGH
>increases lipolysis
>turns off mTor (may jumpstart autophagy)

Don't drink before bed time though. It fucks with HGH you make in your sleep.
