what do we expect of AEW Fight Forever? in one year they have shown 1 minute of pre-alpha gameplay and the game is supposedly coming out in less than 90 days, kinda worrying. WWE 2k22 started showing gameplay super late and as usual the game is dogshit (being better than 2k20 doesn't make it a good game, get some standards you faggots)
2k22 is dimes (gameplay-wise) most of the modes are dogshit and you get bored with it fairly easily
Blake Murphy
Gonna be shit. The only "gameplay" they show is moves and entrances, which are just animations. They've yet to show an actual match with wrestlers moving around, grappling, etc. Also last "gameplay reveal" they kept mentioning how they finally have referee AI as if that was a huge accomplishment.

>2k22 is dimes (gameplay-wise) >watch gameplay >same slow clunky shit as always >watch backstage fights, capped to 1v1 >massive LOL nah it sucks

>in one year they have shown 1 minute of pre-alpha gameplay and the game is supposedly coming out in less than 90 days, kinda worrying I believe the long wait is a situation similar to FF7 Remake, since it's been a while since Yuke's has been directly involved in the making of a game from the ground up, and being their first rodeo with the Unreal Engine, they've probably spent the first months figuring and scrapping stuff out and then hit jackpot to something they were comfortable to work with. By now they are probably already working on the game as intended and the regular developing cycle has iniciated. It's expected that if they ever do a sequel it won't take nearly as long as it's taking right now. Since it's their first game don't expect dozens of different modes to it. the craziest things we might see are backstage brawls, Stadium Stampede match and rollback based online mode. I would say it would take 5 months of feedback, fixes and updates for it to be gold and clean, if the reception and interaction from dev to playerbase to AEW are positive and supporting Yuke's gets a second shot and as we know, It's usually the Sequels that hit home run.

I wish Fire Pro Wrestling World didn't have so much fucking paid DLC, I'm not spending that much money just to be able to use CAWs

>Already coping and trying to push the narrative the game will be barebones and broken and you need to give it 5 months at least then it'll be better but you have to wait for the sequel for the REAL game Kek, and no, this has nothing to do with the FF7 remake, Nomura is making those very fast in terms of modern game development. You're thinking of 15, except Nomura didn't get fired from that, but the AEW game director did, which I'm guessing is a good sign according to you.

If it's not on PS4, I'm not buying it. I'm not ever buying into the PS5/XSX gen. This is my last console rodeo.
>>Already coping and trying to push the narrative the game will be barebones and broken and you need to give it 5 months at least then it'll be better but you have to wait for the sequel for the REAL game Barebones yes, broken, every wrestling game is. And besides, at least is something, I've been waiting for 2k to do something good ever since they bought the rights for WWE and the best we got was 2k19 and battlegrounds, who are all 2 steps below average in wrestling games. And yeah I'm coping, because if I don't I lose all my hopes of having a decent wrestling game again, and it's not like there are that many options to look to, exact same state with other sport games like soccer
