You're introducing them to the audience for the first time. AEW don't do vignettes and you can only rely on the US side to cut a promo for them.
It's crucial for their introduction to sell the audience on them and make the crowd want to tune in to the PPV. Just words from JR won't do it. Okada in his flashy robe with the big entrance if they had actually done it would actually sell the PPV.
