That’s a misconception. WCW’s lineage goes back to JCP, which was founded even before WWE. If TNA under Dixie and JJ are the saem company as the one Anthem rebranded, shouldn’t Turner’s WCW be considered just a continutaion of JCP, making it a 70 year old company?

It was just sanctioned by the NWA. When WCW officially started in 1988 it had the same roster, assets, branding, and PPV names as JCP. Just the company was a different name. WCW was the name of the TV show before Turner even bought it, like Impact was with Anthem.

l wanted to get back into wrestling and was searching for a show and l think PCO sold me on lmpact.
He had that match with that generic guy a few weeks ago and l was about ready to drop lmpact altogether when this super old guy came out dressed as Frankenstein's Monster but he was based as shit. He's clearly sawdusted to hell but just doesn't care. Still not sure how he dislocated his own shoulder like that.
l enjoyed Slamiversary as well, the 10 man tag match was a cluster fuck and l skipped the knockouts stuff but the rest was great, especially Moose and Callahan's match.
