I never understood how to use Halq so I didn't care. All my tuners were hand traps and I used them as hand traps. I never summoned Halq so I took him out and used Knightmares instead. I actually found Halq's tuner requirements incredibly restrictive and struggled to make him work in any deck I used.
Personally I'm just glad Inget a refund since I never used him. I always went into accesscode talker by using the fire charmer link, since everyone packs Ash Blossom.
